Group Fitness Class Descriptions

All classes are subject to change.

Ab BLasT, 8 pk abs, and Core-ability
15 minutes of super abdominal strength training.

CARDIO KICKBOXING
This class is designed as an intense interval and strength-training workout with movements borrowed from boxing and martial arts. Boxing gloves may be provided. 55 minutes

DANCE CLASS
Fun upbeat dance moves that are sure to get your heart rate going.  Enjoy and have fun.  55 minutes

STRETCH-ABILITY
15 minutes set aside to stretch out all those tight spots.

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS
Ideally suited for older adults; Functional Fitness is an interval class focusing on exercise to complement movements performed on a daily basis. Emphasis is on safe, effective exercise and training the core muscles. 45 minutes

HI-LO COMBO
This class combines high and low impact moves throughout the 30-35 minute aerobic phase, finishing with floor work and stretching.  Hi-Lo combo is energetic, motivating and always challenging. 60-65 minutes

HIGH DEFINITION
Define your body with this highly effective interval workout.  Toys used - The BOSU, free weight, all kinds of balls, bands and tubes.  This class is 55 minutes long and will end with a good stretch.

JAZZERCISE
This class is 1-hour of Jazzercise fun, 6-8 minute warm-up, 25-30 minutes of aerobic activity followed by toning/strengthening routine with weights and finally a stretch/cool-down period. Come and join the fun!  60 minutes

MUSCLES in MOTION
Thorough strength training for the upper body, lower body and tone the abdominal all in 45 minutes.

POWER SCULPT
Take your toning to a new level! Power Sculpt intensively works all major muscles utilizing exercises commonly seen in the weight room. 55 minutes

QUADRASTEP
Participants move in patterns utilizing 4-step platforms. Quadra step is a challenging new dimension in step training. Previous step experience highly recommended. 60-65 minutes

SENIOR STRENGTH STAMINA
This class begins with a 15 min. warm-up, continuing on to 1 min. stations. Done in a circuit, focusing on strength, balance and stamina. Class ends with a cool down and standing stretch. A great class for seniors and those needing to get back into fitness.  45 minutes

CYCLE AND CORE
Start your workout with a half hour of Spinning then Score-the ‘S’ stands for Strength with an emphasis on core work using various props; the Bosu, Resist a ball, etc. A great combination! 60-65 minutes

CYCLE
The Spinning Program workout is for all people, of all ages, at all levels of fitness.  Spinning is a non-impact cardiovascular workout that uses specially designed stationary bikes.  The unique bike has adjustable features that allow all body types to get a custom fit and a comfortable workout. 40-45 minutes

CYCLE INTO YOGA
This Hybrid class combines two of the best mind and body fitness classes.  Spinning starts the class to get your heart pumping and Yoga Fitness for strength and flexibility to conclude. 60 minutes

CYCLE WITH A TWIST
A complete workout in just one hour. Starts with 30 minutes of spinning and then a 25 minute conditioning with weights ending with a stretch. Great way to start the weekend. 55 minutes

STEP
A high intensity workout comparable to running 5-7 mph!!  Participants step up and down on an adjustable platform while simultaneously performing upper body movement.  Abdominal work and stretch finishes the class. 55 minutes

STEP & STRENGTH
Taught in a circuit format, this class combines step training with upper and lower body sculpting and finishes with abdominal work. 65 minutes

TOTAL BODY SHAPING (TBS)
A perfect complement to anyone’s cardio workout. TBS provides muscle conditioning for virtually every major muscle group. Using the Step, weights, bands, balls, tubing and other pieces of equipment. 45-55 minutes

TRIPLE PLAY
A great combination, warm up SPIN for 30 minutes, get a great CORE workout, and a super STRETCH at the end. 60 minutes

ZUMBA
Dance your way to a fitter you with exciting and unique Latin moves and rhythms. Zumba, the class that is taking the world by storm. 45 minutes

* Please arrive on time, and avoid leaving in the middle of class. No admittance after start of class.
* Refrain from excessive talking, turn off cell phones.
* Please follow the instruction from the instructor “avoid doing your own thing.” 
* Be kind and welcome ALL new members into classes. All classes are on a “first come, first served” basis.
