Water exercise has an almost non-existent injury rate, making it
one of the safest, most effective forms of cardiovascular training.
Water provides 12 times the resistance of air, resulting in
effective toning of the legs and arms. Swimming skills are not
necessary. These 45-minute classes consist of a warm-up, aerobic
workouts, overall toning and cool down.
AQUA YOGALATES:
This class combines Yoga and Pilates exercises to the pool. It
elongates the entire body and will develop strength and flexibility
with range of motion, body alignment and balance. All ages and
fitness levels will benefit.
CARNAHAN THERAPY:
Carnahan Aquatic Therapy. The pool is not open to any members or
past patients during this time. Only current Carnahan Therapy
patients can use the pool.
AFAP - Arthritis
Foundation Pool:
This water based exercise program is led by a certified instructor
to help alleviate symptoms brought on by Arthritis. This program is
also recommended for individuals who suffer from fatigue, lupus or
fibromyalgia.
